With employee expectations evolving and the workplace in transition, businesses are facing many complex challenges from a labor and employment perspective. I assist employers with effective HR strategies and proper policies and procedures to help them face those challenges, and succeed. I enjoy diving into new projects, driving to desired outcomes and seeing things through to completion.

Allyson Terpsma provides skilled labor and employment counsel for employers across a variety of industries, including higher education and health care. She guides clients through difficult employee situations and advises them on civil rights laws, disability and leave issues, wage and hour compliance and labor relations. Allyson provides human resources and supervisor training, and drafts employee handbooks and employment-related agreements – including independent contractor, confidentiality, noncompete and separation agreements.
