Three partners at Warner Norcross + Judd LLP have been elected to the firm’s Management Committee.
Daniel P. Ettinger, Matthew D. Johnson and Allyson Terpsma each will serve a three-year term on the 10-member committee, which oversees the firm’s strategic vision and day-to-day operations. All three are based in the firm’s Grand Rapids office.
Ettinger concentrates his practice on mining, renewable energy, oil and gas and other natural resource matters, with a special focus on issues related to Native American tribes and cultural resources. He represents local, national and international clients in environmental litigation and appeals, zoning and land use matters, permitting and regulatory compliance. He chairs the firm’s Resources, Energy and Environmental Law Practice Group.
Johnson focuses his practice on corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private securities offerings, formation and capital raising, succession planning, board governance and other matters. He chairs the firm’s Corporate Practice Group. He represents closely held and family-owned businesses, emerging growth companies, investors and other organizations.
Terpsma provides skilled labor and employment counsel for employers in higher education, health care and other industries, advising them on civil rights laws, disability and leave issues, wage and hour compliance, noncompetes, separation agreements and related matters. Through arbitration or litigation, she has handled labor and employment disputes over disciplinary actions, contract interpretation and compensation.
