Miramar Capital is a Northbrook, Illinois-based registered investment adviser with more than $592 million in client assets. Founders and senior portfolio managers Bob Kalman and Max Wasserman lead the firm.
Since its founding in 2017, Miramar Capital has specialized in dividend growth investing, building customized portfolios intended to preserve wealth, generate income and support long-term growth. The transaction adds Miramar Capital’s experienced investment team to Wealth Enhancement’s growing national organization and strengthens Wealth Enhancement’s presence in the greater Chicago market. As part of Wealth Enhancement, the Miramar team will continue serving its clients while gaining access to expanded financial planning, tax, estate planning and wealth management resources.
“We are excited to partner with Wealth Enhancement and are pleased to have found a like-minded team that shares our drive and passion for an independent, client-centric approach to wealth management,” Kalman said.
Warner served as legal counsel to Miramar Capital, advising the firm throughout the negotiation and documentation of the transaction.
“Going through this process was a team effort, and we could not be happier or more impressed with the Warner team led by Linda Paullin-Hebden and Robert Cambridge," Kalman said. "We had full confidence in the legal counsel we received, and we are thankful for their many hours of hard work guiding us to a new partnership with Wealth Enhancement Group.”
Warner’s transaction team included Linda Paullin-Hebden, Robert J. Cambridge, Lauren M. Maliszewski, Sean H. Cook, Jennifer A. Watkins, DeAndre’ Harris and Stephanie H. Grant. Hue Partners served as adviser to Miramar Capital in the transaction.
