The best part of my job is getting to work hand in hand with clients – helping them to develop their businesses and brands and then seeing it all come to fruition. When I’m driving down the road and see the mark on a billboard, or spot it on a product label at a local store, I think I get almost as excited as they do!

Amber regularly counsels clients on trademark, trade dress, unfair competition and copyright related matters. She assists clients with trademark clearance, prosecution, enforcement and proceedings before the U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, as well as domestic and international portfolio management. Amber also has experience in anti-counterfeiting and trademark enforcement measures, globally.

  • Prepares and prosecutes trademark applications before the U.S. Trademark Office.
  • Prepares and files oppositions and cancellations before the U.S. Trademark Office and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
  • Prepares, reviews and provides analysis of preliminary and full U.S. trademark searches.
  • Prepares and files U.S. copyright applications.
  • Performs due diligence on Intellectual Property matters.
  • Reviews licensing agreements and identifies risks associated with copyright infringement issues.
  • Collaborates with foreign associates on filing trademark applications, trademark searches and the prosecution of trademark applications.

  • Drafts and negotiates various licensing and services agreements, including intellectual property agreements.
  • Prepares and files social media intellectual property infringement take down requests with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest and other social media platforms.
