Linamar Corp., an advanced manufacturing company headquartered in Ontario, has completed the acquisition of select Aludyne North America assets, valued at $300 million. Aludyne Inc. is a global manufacturer for the mobility and automotive industry.
This acquisition is highly complementary to Linamar’s existing Structures and Chassis business, adding advanced capabilities in aluminum casting, precision machining and product design. Aludyne’s portfolio includes knuckles, subframes, control arms and axle housings, which aligns with Linamar’s strategic focus on propulsion-agnostic structural components. The Aludyne operations will be integrated into Linamar’s Structures Group within its mobility segment, significantly expanding Linamar’s manufacturing footprint in North America, particularly in the U.S.
Linamar is recognized for its capabilities in casting, forging, metal-forming, machining and assembly, serving a broad array of industries including mobility, agriculture, access equipment, medical technology, water, power, defense and robotics. The addition of U.S.-based manufacturing assets is expected to further strengthen Linamar’s ability to support customers locally, which is increasingly important in today’s dynamic global trade environment.
“Linamar was extremely well advised on this transaction by our longtime advisors, Susan Cook, Linda Paullin-Hebden, Jennifer Dudley and several other members of the Warner team,” said Elliot Burger, Linamar Corporation’s general counsel, corporate secretary and global vice president of corporate development. “These distressed mobility asset transactions are critical to the health and renewal of the North American automotive supply chain, and Warner has developed an industry leading expertise that we truly rely upon.”
The Warner transaction team was led by Linda Paullin-Hebden and Jennifer Dudley and included Sue Cook, Andrew Reside, Antonia Giles, Robert Nolan, Sean Cook, Jennifer Watkins, Dennis Donohue, Dan Bonucchi, Nadia Little, Jason Byrne, Joshua Eggert, Lauren Moine, Brandon Hayes, Johnny Pinjuv, Adam Ratliff, Cody Mott, Jessica Back, Lindsey Jager and Breanna Tullis.
