The Midwest Securities Law Institute is a one-day seminar for practicing attorneys, corporate counsel, compliance officers, arbitrators, financial industry professionals and law students to explore current and emerging issues in securities regulation.
Warner Norcross + Judd attorney Shane Hansen will moderate the panel discussion “Views from Both a Regulator and Compliance Officer,” featuring former Securities and Exchange Commission officials and a leading securities compliance expert.
Hansen, who has practiced law for 40 years, focuses on financial services regulation, including federal and state securities and banking laws and FINRA oversight of member broker-dealers and their registered professionals. He advises broker-dealers, investment advisers, private fund advisers, M&A brokers, banks and family offices on a broad range of business, contract, compliance and regulatory matters.
