The Michigan Manufacturers Association will host its Workforce Solutions Summit, a full-day event bringing together industry leaders, workforce experts, educators and community partners to share strategies for attracting, developing and retaining talent.
Warner Norcross + Judd attorney Sarah Bileti will co-present “Harnessing Global Talent: Legal Pathways and Workforce Integration for Michigan Manufacturers” with Moses Lee of the Michigan Language Center.
The session will explore immigration-based hiring strategies, including visa options for skilled and unskilled workers, regulatory challenges, L visas and TPS programs. It will also address best practices for onboarding, career development and cross-cultural communication to support non-native English-speaking employees.
An experienced immigration attorney, Bileti focuses her practice on domestic and international employment-based immigration matters that span employee work authorization, corporate restructuring challenges and Form I-9 compliance to help businesses stay compliant, protect labor and adapt to evolving immigration and workforce regulations.
The Sept. 18 summit is held at the L.V. Eberhard Center on Grand Valley State University’s Pew Campus. To learn more about the event, please click here.
