The Bankruptcy Steering Committee for the Bankruptcy Section of the Western Michigan Chapter of the Federal Bar Association is hosting the 2025 FBA Bankruptcy Seminar at Mission Point Resort on Mackinac Island, beginning Friday, July 25.

Several Warner attorneys are featured on the seminar agenda:

  • Sue Cook will participate on the afternoon panel discussion “Important Pre-Code SCOTUS Opinions: Vestigial or Vital?” She will be joined by Hon. Paul R. Hage of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and Hon. John T. Gregg of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Michigan.
  • Charlie Quigg will take part in the panel “Preclusion Issues: ‘You say tomato, I say tomahto,’” with the Hon. Joel D. Applebaum of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and Perry Pastula of Dunn, Schouten & Snoap.
  • Emily Rucker will participate in the “Dispositive Motion Drill Down” panel alongside the Nick Laue from Keller Almassian and Kim Clayson from Taft.
  • Liz Von Eitzen is serving as co-chair for the event.
