Mark B. Lehmann
- Senior Counsel
Financial institutions face constant pressure to balance compliance obligations with business objectives. Drawing on experience as an attorney, compliance professional and banker, I help clients navigate that challenge by providing practical guidance on lending, regulatory compliance, risk management and operational matters.
Mark Lehmann is a senior counsel in Warner's Financial Institutions and Services Practice Group. His practice focuses on federal and state financial regulatory compliance, consumer protection, consumer and commercial lending matters, policy analysis and risk assessment.
Mark has advised thousands of financial institutions on regulatory compliance, lending documentation, product development and operational matters. He regularly analyzes new legislation and regulatory developments, helping financial institutions understand and implement changing legal requirements. Additionally, having supported lenders across all markets, Mark has provided insight into industry best practices affecting lenders and loan products.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Mark built a career in banking, serving in leadership, operational and client-facing roles. That experience gives him a practical understanding of how legal and regulatory decisions affect financial institutions in day-to-day operations and strategic planning.
