James L.
Liggins Jr.

  • Senior Counsel

My greatest attribute manifests in my ability to build strong personal relationships. I’m very good at reading the room and tailoring my approach to my audience. In a courtroom setting, as I present my litigation strategy, my emotional intelligence provides a great advantage — I know how to connect with people in a way that makes me very persuasive.

Attorney Reel: The Real James Liggins

Noted litigator and community ambassador James Liggins Jr. runs a multifaceted practice encompassing construction litigation, property disputes and real estate concerns, as well as business contractual disputes, criminal defense, health care issues and emergency manager matters. With an in-depth understanding of the toll that litigation can take on clients, James makes every effort to proactively position them to avoid courtroom disputes. If a judge or jury trial ultimately proves to be the best course or action, clients know he will put everything he has into procuring the best outcomes possible.
