Oklahoma City-based registered investment advisor Full Sail Capital (“Full Sail”) has been acquired by Mercer Global Advisors, Inc. (“Mercer”), bringing approximately $2 billion in client assets to Mercer. The deal marks Mercer’s third-largest acquisition to date.
Founded in 2018 by David Stanley, Scott Cravens and Zac Reynolds — former executives at Trust Company of Oklahoma — Full Sail quickly established itself as a leading investment advisory firm in the region. Since its launch, the firm has grown rapidly, serving more than 600 families with comprehensive wealth management services. Full Sail aligns with Mercer’s fiduciary-first approach to wealth management. The firm’s highly personalized service model is anchored in five core offerings: financial planning, wealth and asset integration, investment management, estate plan consulting and family office services. By joining Mercer, Full Sail gains access to enterprise infrastructure, a fully integrated technology platform, expanded talent resources and institutional-grade custom portfolios — all while continuing to serve clients with the same bespoke service that defines their firm.
About the decision to sell to Mercer, Full Sail COO and Co-founder Cravens stated: “We saw lots of opportunity and structure out there, for us the right fit was to integrate and do a single team to move forward into the next chapter both for Oklahoma City and hopefully for Mercer Advisors. As we came to know them, it was very obvious that, as I said, they were essentially Full Sail Capital but at scale.
“I simply can’t imagine having better legal representation to guide us through this process,” shared Cravens. “Linda Paullin-Hebden and her team are world-class. The time and attention they gave our transaction was above and beyond what I could have ever imagined. They were with us every step of the way. In hindsight, retaining the Warner team was one of the best decisions we made before beginning our formal process.”
Warner served as legal counsel to Full Sail, representing the company in the negotiation and documentation of the transaction. Warner’s transaction team was led by Linda Paullin-Hebden and included John Muhs, Mohamad Knio, DeAndre’ Harris, Jennifer Watkins, Sean Cook, Stephanie Grant, Jennifer Dudley, Robert Cambridge and De’Andre Robbins.
Hue Capital Partners, LLC, served as exclusive financial advisor to Full Sail.
