Warner Represented Centricity Wealth Management in its Sale to Composition Wealth

Westerville, Ohio-based registered investment advisory firm Centricity Wealth Management (“Centricity”) has recently been acquired by Composition Wealth, LLC (“Composition”), bringing approximately $180 million in client assets to Composition Wealth.

The addition of Centricity gives Composition its first office in Ohio, further strengthening its Midwest presence alongside Composition’s newer office in Chicago.

Founded by husband-and-wife team Chris Ciehanski, CPA, CFP, CRPC™ and Wendy Ciehanski, CRPC™, Centricity specializes in comprehensive, fee-only financial planning and investment management services tailored to clients across multiple life stages, from established professionals to retirees.

“As we sought a partner, we wanted a firm that could help us both expand our capabilities in financial, tax and estate planning to meet our clients’ evolving needs,” Wendy Ciehanski stated. “At the same time, we wanted a partner who had a proven track record in attracting next generation talent to help support our long-term succession plan. Composition has a track record of doing both well.”

Nate Angelo, head of wealth management at Composition, said: “Chris and Wendy have made a tremendous impact in the Columbus community, and their passion for impacting clients’ lives resonates with us. We look forward to furthering their efforts with our suite of planning and estate capabilities as they continue to grow in the greater Columbus area.”

Chris Ciehanski shared: “Warner’s M&A team demonstrated a deep understanding of our business model and long-term vision, positioning the company for sustained growth. We relied upon Warner’s in-depth industry expertise to structure and negotiate a deal that aligned with our goals — for our company, employees and clients. Warner had strategic insight on the unique complexities of our transaction, and we appreciated their timely and thorough attention to every meeting, document and communication throughout the process.”

Warner served as legal counsel to Centricity, representing the company in the negotiation and documentation of the transaction. Warner’s transaction team was led by Linda Paullin-Hebden and included John Muhs, Mohamad Knio, Lauren Moine, DeAndre’ Harris and Diane Currie.

Diamond Consultants served as financial advisor to Centricity.
