Sequoia Financial Group LLC, an SEC-registered wealth manager, recently announced its acquisition of BSW Wealth Partners, a Colorado-based independent wealth management firm. As of June 30, 2026, BSW managed approximately $2.3 billion in client assets. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1992, BSW provides financial planning and customized wealth management services to individuals and families nationwide from offices in Boulder and Denver. BSW will operate under the Sequoia Financial brand, providing its clients access to expanded planning, family office and investment resources.
“We highly value the bonds BSW has built with clients over the decades and the culture of its talented team,” said Tom Haught, chairman and CEO of Sequoia Financial. He added that the acquisition further expands Sequoia Financial’s presence in Colorado.
“United, we can better serve families for generations,” said David Wolf, CEO of BSW. He noted that the combination will also create new opportunities for BSW’s team and expand the firms’ impact throughout the Mountain West.
Sequoia Financial manages $34.9 billion in assets and supports approximately 11,000 client households through 43 offices nationwide.
Warner Norcross + Judd LLP served as BSW’s legal adviser in the transaction. Hue Partners provided consulting and strategic guidance.
