The Environmental Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan, along with the East and West Michigan chapters of the Air & Waste Management Association, will host the annual Fall Joint Conference on Nov. 12 at Lansing Community College.
The conference offers environmental professionals an opportunity to discuss scientific, technical, legal and policy issues, including insights into emerging trends.
Three Warner attorneys – Mike Azzi, Paul Beach and Kurt Kissling – are among the event’s presenters.
- Azzi and Beach will join the panel “PFAS Trends: Litigation, Regulation and Analytics.” They and their fellow panelists will explore how per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), a persistent group of chemicals found in water, food and even human cells, continue to pose legal, regulatory and environmental challenges.
- Kissling will moderate the morning session, “EGLE Directors and Division Updates,” leading a discussion with representatives from the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy’s Air Quality, Materials Management, Water Resources and Remediation and Redevelopment Divisions.
Whether you’re an environmental, business or legal professional, or simply interested in environmental issues, the Nov. 12 conference offers a chance to expand your knowledge and connect with others in the field. Click here for additional details.
