Warner Partner Scott R. Carvo Among Michigan’s Go To Business Litigation Lawyers

Scott R. Carvo, a partner at Warner Norcross + Judd LLP, has been named one of Michigan Lawyers Weekly’s 2023 Go To Lawyers in business litigation.

Nominated by their peers, Go To Lawyers are recognized for their expertise in their field and are well-versed in the nuances of the case law, statutes and regulations clients will encounter. They think creatively, are experienced and have a proven track record of success. They are also thelawyers to whom other lawyers make referrals because of their expertise and accomplishments.

Practicing in all areas of litigation, Carvo is based in Warner’s Grand Rapids office. He puts his eDiscovery expertise to good use in both his general commercial litigation practice and restrictive covenant practice. Carvo’s background in information technology before becoming a lawyer helps him strategize in eDiscovery and convey information more effectively, resulting in less expense for clients in discovery phases of cases. He also advocates for clients in matters involving restrictive covenant, employment and general commercial litigation.

Carvo is a member of the American Bar Association and State Bar of Michigan. He also is a member of the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists and a past member of the George Washington Law School Complex Litigation Center’s Lawyers Cabinet.

Carvo has been named to Best Lawyers® in commercial litigation and selected as a Michigan Super Lawyer Rising Star. He also has been named a Top Lawyer in information management and discovery law by Grand Rapids Magazine.
