Warner Norcross + Judd today announced that Kristina M. Araya, R. Michael Azzi, Katherine L. Pullen and Corinne N. Sprague have been named partners.
The new partners, from offices in Grand Rapids and Southfield, practice in a variety of areas, including commercial litigation and risk management, automotive, commercial, healthcare and intellectual property law, as well as corporate and securities law.

The new partners include:
- Kristina M. Araya, who focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation and risk management. Her litigation practice includes insurance coverage disputes, shareholder disputes and banking and securities litigation. She was recognized as a Michigan Super Lawyer Rising Star in both 2016 and 2017, and is a member of the Federal Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan, Grand Rapids Bar Association and Inforum. Araya holds a bachelor of science in political science from the University of Michigan and her law degree magna cum laude from Wayne State University Law School, where she was Order of the Coif.
- R. Michael Azzi, whose practice is focused on complex commercial litigation, particularly in the areas of intellectual property, bankruptcy and creditor’s rights. He was named a Michigan Super Lawyer Rising Star in both 2016 and 2017, and is a member of the Federal Bar Association, American Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan and Grand Rapids Bar Association. He serves on the board of Artists Creating Together. Azzi holds a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois and his law degree summa cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law, where he was managing editor of the University of Illinois Law Review.
- Katherine L. Pullen, who focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, including class actions, trademark and copyright infringement cases, as well as automotive and healthcare litigation. She was recognized as a Michigan Super Lawyer Rising Star in 2016 and 2017, and is a member of the Federal Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan and Oakland County Bar Association. She is a member of Inforum and a graduate of its Executive Leadership Program and is currently participating in Leadership Oakland. She also serves as legal counsel for two OESA councils, volunteers on a committee for Alternatives for Girls and is a member of the Detroit Economic Club. Pullen holds a bachelor of science from Michigan State University and her law degree from the University of Michigan Law School.
- Corinne N. Sprague, whose practice is focused on corporate and securities law, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters, including planning and governance. She was recognized as a Michigan Super Lawyer Rising Star in 2016 and 2017, and is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, American Bar Association and Grand Rapids Bar Association. She chairs the Community Engagement Committee of the Grand Rapids Symphony, serves on the board of the Grand Rapids Early Discovery Center and is a member of Inforum. Sprague holds a bachelor of arts in American studies from the University of Notre Dame and her law degree magna cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School, where she was Order of the Coif.
