Warner attorney Sarah Bileti presents today at the Michigan County Medical Care Facilities Council’s (MCMCFC) Fall Financial Conference. MCMCFC serves as an educational and advocacy organization for Michigan’s county skilled nursing facilities.
Bileti’s session, “International Recruitment as a Workforce Strategy: Using EB-3 Process to Address Health Care Staffing Shortages,” explores one avenue health care employers can consider as they work to build a sustainable workforce. She will discuss how the EB-3 visa process may help skilled nursing facilities and other providers recruit nurses, therapists and other qualified professionals internationally.
The discussion will cover the process from both a legal and operational perspective, including anticipated timing, cost considerations and common challenges. Attendees will also gain practical insight into building an international recruitment program that supports staffing goals while meeting U.S. immigration requirements.
Bileti is a member of Warner’s Immigration and Health Care practice groups. She counsels employers on business immigration matters, including strategies to recruit and retain foreign national employees.
