The Michigan Economic Developers Spring Conference 2025 offers topics most pertinent to Michigan’s economic development community including updates to economic development business, community and workforce resources, featuring case studies that show creative use.

Warner Norcross + Judd LLP partner Kurt Brauer will participate on the panel “Site Readiness: Leveraging Technical Development Expertise to Gain an Advantage in Schedule and Funding.” Site readiness is critical in attracting and retaining businesses in any region. Brauer and his co-presenters will offer best practices for communities and businesses to significantly enhance site appeal to potential investors and companies looking to expand or relocate.

At Warner, Brauer counsels clients on economic development, environmental compliance and regulatory matters with an emphasis on brownfield redevelopment and business expansion incentive packages. He also assists clients in resolving complex real estate matters.

MEDA’s Spring Conference series takes learning and networking to communities around Michigan with economic development stories to share. This year's event will be held at The Cadillac Room in Lansing and will highlight the significant contributions of the Michigan legislature, administration and state departments in driving successful economic development priorities in communities.
