The University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law continues its tradition of hosting one of the nation’s leading bankruptcy institutes on June 12. The biennial event is named after Judge Joe Lee, one of the longest serving bankruptcy judges in the nation who played a pivotal role in the enactment of the Bankruptcy Reform Act of 1978.
Warner Norcross + Judd LLP Partner Rozanne Giunta will participate on the afternoon panel discussion “Commercial Real Estate and Bankruptcy.” Giunta is a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy and serves as its Sixth Circuit regent. She also serves on several committees for the American College of Bankruptcy is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute.
Giunta has more than 45 years of experience representing secured creditors, debtors and creditors’ committees and trustees in Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 proceedings, loan workouts, defense of preference claims, collection suits, foreclosure actions and related matters. Prior to formal filings, she works with businesses to structure transactions designed to anticipate bankruptcy problems.
This is the 22 biennial Judge Joe Lee Bankruptcy Institute. The two-day event runs June 12-13 and includes educational sessions, case law review and networking opportunities. For more information, please click here.
