Government officials will join national and regional business leaders to offer their perspectives on evolving tax law issues. Sessions will cover changes on the national, state and local levels and will include conversation on the landmark Corporate Transparency Act.

Warner partner Corinne Sprague will present “Succession Planning Throughout a Closely Held Business’s Life Cycle” to discuss what business owners should consider at various stages in their business’s growth, including governance structures, family employment policies, capitalization, gifting and building in flexibility.

Sprague is a seasoned corporate attorney who advises both privately held and publicly traded companies on mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, corporate planning, governance and compliance with federal and state securities laws. In addition to her general corporate practice, she assists family-owned businesses in designing governance, ownership and compensation structures to align with their long-term succession planning and business objectives.

The event begins Thursday, May 23 at 8:30 a.m. with registration, continental breakfast and a vendor showcase at Saint John’s Resort in Plymouth.
