Chamber Issues Forum events provide an opportunity for members to be part of the conversation around the most pressing topics impacting business in Michigan at the local, state and federal levels. These events provide members with unbiased, data-backed information and discussion to help make better decisions for organizations.
The Friday, April 25 forum features Aida Dismondy, senior counsel at Warner Norcross + Judd, who will break down recent executive orders and their impact on the workforce. Dismondy will focus on court decisions and the Department of Education and Department of Justice guidelines, covering what’s required, what’s still possible and what employers should keep in mind moving forward.
A frequent presenter at local, national and international trade and defense conferences, Dismondy focuses her legal practice on international trade and business, defense trade and business including U.S. national security, economic and foreign policy. She counsels and represents clients on the full range of administrative, compliance and enforcement actions arising out of export controls and sanctions, customs, defense federal acquisition regulations, Buy American Act, Trade Agreements Act and related U.S. laws and regulations.
