Warner Norcross represented West Shore Bank in its expansion of wealth management services with the acquisition of Ellis Capital Management of Grand Rapids and Muskegon.

Based in Ludington, West Shore Bank provides wealth advisory services through its seven-branch network, which spans from Oceana County to Benzie County. The acquisition of Ellis Capital Management will extend West Shore Bank’s wealth management services into Kent, Ottawa and Muskegon counties.

Ellis Capital Management was founded in 1997 and provides wealth management services to families, businesses and nonprofit organizations in West Michigan. Founder David K. Ellis and his team will join West Shore Bank and assist in growing the Grand Rapids and Muskegon regions.

The Warner Norcross transaction team was led by Charlie Goode and included partners Mark Harder, Shane Hansen, Jonathan Kok, Rodney Martin and Justin Stemple and associates Corinne Sprague, Emily Cantor and Daniel Brick.
