WJR’s Paul W. Smith Talks with Retired Maj. Gen. Michael A. Stone

Warner Norcross + Judd LLP attorney and Retired Maj. Gen. Michael A. Stone was live on-air today with WJR's morning host, Paul W. Smith, to discuss his recent active duty deployment on the COVID-19 frontlines and his subsequent return to the law firm.

During the six-minute interview, Stone discussed his role as commander of Task Force 46, a unit comprised of Michigan soldiers, in its work supporting the Federal Emergency Management Agency by helping to integrate military doctors, nurses and physician assistants into many of the hardest-hit civilian health care centers across the country.

"It was the culmination of my career," Stone said. "I've served in two combat tours, and this is so personal because it's the homeland and you're saving American lives."

When asked about his return to Warner and resuming his role as co-chair of the firm's Aerospace and Defense and Government Services Industry Group,  Stone said: "Warner Norcross + Judd has a strong automotive practice. There's so much automotive that also does defense work. I was sold on Warner for its culture and its business plan."
