Warner Norcross + Judd LLP has welcomed Stephanie Farman as senior counsel in its Grand Rapids office.
Farman is a corporate attorney who brings 15 years of experience advising businesses on commercial contracts, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, data privacy, litigation management and business strategy. She has extensive experience negotiating and managing complex commercial agreements involving customers, suppliers, vendors, channel partners, logistics providers and other strategic business relationships.
Prior to joining Warner, Farman worked in senior in-house legal roles, most recently as senior legal counsel for the North American subsidiary of LACROIX Group, a global electronics manufacturer. As a member of the executive leadership team, she led the subsidiary’s legal and compliance functions, negotiated manufacturing and logistics agreements and managed commercial contracts and outside litigation counsel.
Farman also spent more than six years as senior legal counsel for Service Express, a global data center services and technology company. As the company’s first in-house attorney, she built and developed a team of legal and compliance professionals while supporting the organization’s domestic and international growth. Farman counseled leadership on corporate governance, regulatory compliance and intellectual property strategy, in addition to negotiating contracts with Fortune 100 companies, supporting multiple acquisitions and advising the business through two private equity transitions.
Earlier in her career, Farman worked in private practice, where she handled contract, appellate, probate, estate planning, employment and other matters. Most recently, she served as a research attorney for the Muskegon County Circuit Court.
She volunteers with Kids Food Basket and Versiti, as well as serving as a youth sports coach for softball and previously basketball.
Farman holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from The Ohio State University and a law degree from Capital University Law School in Ohio. A native of Pennsylvania, she currently resides in Lowell with her three children.
