Warner Norcross + Judd LLP has welcomed seven new attorneys to the firm.
Cade M. Bunton, Emma J. Haiser, Josh Hill, Harsh D. Patel, John H. Schulte, Early L. Stephens and Alexis N. Tillery have been admitted to the State Bar of Michigan. They are gaining experience in a variety of legal matters before selecting a practice group.
Haiser, Hill and Stephens are based in Warner’s Grand Rapids office. Bunton, Patel, Schulte and Tillery are based in the firm’s Detroit office.
Bunton received his law degree magna cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law where he was a production editor of the Journal of Law, Technology & Policy. He holds a bachelor’s degree in management summa cum laude from Western Michigan University. Prior to joining Warner, he served as a judicial intern for the Hon. Jonathan J.C. Grey of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
Haiser received her law degree magna cum laude from Michigan State University College of Law where she was Order of the Coif. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science magna cum laude from Western Michigan University. Before joining Warner, she worked as an intern for Chief Justice Hala Y. Jarbou in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan and for Justice Elizabeth M. Welch of the Michigan Supreme Court. She was also deputy court clerk for the Warrant Department of the Michigan 10th Judicial District Court in Battle Creek.
Hill received his law degree magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame Law School, where he served as a managing senior editor of the Notre Dame Law Review. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics summa cum laude from Gordon College. Prior to joining Warner, he began his career in fund development with CURE International, where he served as major donor stewardship advisor. He has also worked in residential building, real estate investing and property management.
Patel received his law degree magna cum laude from MSU College of Law. He holds a bachelor’s degree in biopsychology, cognition and neuroscience from the University of Michigan. Before joining Warner, he served as a law clerk at Credit Acceptance in Southfield and as a legal workflow specialist at a financial services company in Troy.
Schulte received his law degree summa cum laude from MSU College of Law, where he was Order of the Coif and an associate editor of Michigan State Law Review. He holds a bachelor’s degree cum laude in chemistry from Baldwin Wallace University. Before joining Warner, he worked as a technology commercialization intern at MSU Innovation Center and as a scientific intern at the Gilbert Family Foundation. Schulte is a registered patent attorney.
Stephens received his law degree from MSU College of Law magna cum laude and was a managing editor of Michigan State Law Review. He holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Western Michigan University. Before joining Warner, he was a law clerk at a firm in Kalamazoo and a project manager at Architectural Glass and Metals.
Tillery received her law degree cum laude from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law where she worked on the Law Review. She holds a master’s degree in social work from Wayne State University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Albion College. Before joining Warner, Tillery was a judicial intern at the Oakland County Circuit Court Family Division and a law clerk in the Office of Legal Counsel for the governor of Michigan. She was also a judicial extern for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Tillery also worked as a clinical therapist for Great Lakes Psychology Group in Southfield.
