The annual Clearing the Air Conference, presented by the Michigan Manufacturers Association and the Environmental Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan, brings together professionals from government, industry, advocacy organizations and the legal community to examine key state and national air regulatory issues.
Kurt Kissling, a partner at Warner who chairs the Air Committee for the Environmental Law Section, will co-host the conference and provide the closing address. Kissling is an environmental attorney with decades of experience in all matters related to the Clean Air Act as well as its state and local counterparts, including permitting, compliance, enforcement and advocacy.
Ashley Chrysler, also a partner at Warner, is presenting “Operator Liability After EES Coke,” which will examine recent court rulings and their impact on operator liability under environmental law. At Warner, Chrysler specializes in complex commercial litigation and appeals, with a particular focus on environmental, renewable energy, mining and zoning litigation.
