Warner Norcross + Judd LLP has been selected for the 2022 ATHENA Organizational Leadership Award by the Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce.
The ATHENA Organizational Leadership Award honors an organization that embodies, encourages and promotes the inclusion of women. Warner was a finalist for the award along with MillerKnoll and Motherland Cultural Connections LLC.
The award was accepted by Warner attorney Zainab Hazimi on behalf of the firm during the 33rd annual ATHENA Awards Celebration on Sept. 28. Hazimi is a litigator who focuses her practice on employment, supply chain and other commercial litigation for a variety of industries, with experience litigating in state, federal and appellate courts as well as in private arbitration.
A total of 13 finalists and award recipients were celebrated during the event across three award categories: Organizational Leadership, Young Professional and Leadership.
All ATHENA finalists have made an incredible difference in the West Michigan community and join the legacy of women who have challenged the status quo for more than 30 years.
Ciarra C. Adkins, JD, founder and president of AQUME Foundation, won the 2022 ATHENA Young Professional Award. Meg Goebel, president and CEO of Acrisure d/b/a Paul Goebel Group, took home the 2022 ATHENA Leadership Award.

Morris is a trial attorney and mediator who specializes in probate court disputes involving often highly complex trusts, estates, wills, powers of attorney, guardianships and conservatorships, working with both adults and minors. She chairs Warner’s Summer Associate Committee.
