Joshua C. Eggert, an associate with Warner Norcross + Judd LLP, has been selected for leadership roles in the Great Lakes Bay Region.
Eggert will serve a two-year term on the executive council of Saginaw Valley State University’s Stevens Center for Family Business. He will also serve a three-year term on the board of Midland’s Open Door.
SVSU’s Stevens Center for Family Business supports family business owners and leaders by providing networking opportunities, peer groups and sponsor workshops to help strengthen their companies. The center partners with national experts and local leaders to share best practices, equipping members with tools to help their companies thrive through generations.
Midland’s Open Door is a Christian nonprofit that supports those experiencing homelessness and others in need by providing shelter, meals, case management and counseling. Founded in 1973 as a coffeehouse ministry, the organization has grown significantly throughout the years, now operating a community soup kitchen, women’s and children’s shelter, and a men’s shelter.
Eggert is a corporate attorney who counsels businesses on a broad array of transactional services, including entity formation, partnership and operating agreements, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and insolvency, real estate matters and succession planning. He works closely with business owners to create solid legal frameworks that support growth, mitigate risk and align with their long-term vision. He practices in Warner’s Midland office.
