Warner Norcross + Judd LLP is pleased to host the Alliance of Mergers and Acquisition Advisors – Detroit Chapter meeting on April 17 offering a panel discussion “The Current State of M&A in Michigan and Beyond.” Guests will hear from distinguished panelists offering valuable insights, analysis and perspectives on the current landscape of M&A activities, trends, challenges and opportunities.

Linda Paullin-Hebden, Warner partner and co-chair of the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions Group, will moderate the panel that includes:

  • Sean Cook, Warner partner and chair of the firm’s Tax Group.
  • Jacob Katz, UHY principal, valuations, litigation and transactions.
  • Ron Reed, Cascade Partners managing director.

Event guests will gain a comprehensive understanding of the M&A regulatory environment, market dynamics and key drivers influencing transactions. From identifying emerging trends to navigating legal and financial complexities, panelists will share practical advice and deal-making strategies to help navigate the complexities of M&A transactions.

Warner speaker bios:
Linda Paullin-Hebden concentrates her practice on financial services and automotive industry issues. She serves as a securities compliance advisor to registered investment advisers and as a counselor to venture capital and private equity funds. Paullin-Hebden handles a variety of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, compliance, fund formation, joint ventures, private investments and other transactions as well as general corporate issues. She served as a member of the Warner’s management committee and was formerly the executive partner of the firm’s Detroit and Bloomfield Hills offices.

Sean Cook is based in Detroit and serves as chair of Warner’s Tax Practice Group and a member of its Finance Committee. He represents clients in the areas of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, nonprofit law and estate planning, from family-owned and closely held businesses to global enterprises.
