The U.S. tariff landscape is quickly evolving and poised to cause serious disruption to Michigan manufacturers and their extended supply chains. The Michigan Manufacturers Town Hall gathers industry leaders to discuss the new tariff environment, expected effects and strategies to mitigate impacts.

Warner Norcross + Judd LLP partner Homayune Ghaussi will speak during the afternoon event. Ghaussi, who chairs Warner’s Supply Chain Industry Group, will discuss legal strategies to help manufacturers navigate tariff challenges. Ghaussi encourages manufacturers to look for specific contractual language to help determine which entity in a supply chain will likely need to absorb the cost of the tariffs.

Ghaussi focuses his practice dually, and somewhat uniquely, on both supply chain litigation and commercial contract negotiation, representing clients in complex litigation and commercial disputes, including through jury trials and arbitration hearings. He also regularly serves as transactional and contracts counsel for automotive, manufacturing and raw material suppliers throughout the U.S. and Europe.

The event will be held at 1:00 p.m. March 10 at the JAMA Advanced Manufacturing Center in Jackson, with a virtual login also offered. For more information on the event, please click here.
