Michael Brady Named to Detroit 500 List

Michael G. Brady, executive partner of the Warner Norcross + Judd LLP Detroit and Bloomfield Hills offices, has been named to the Detroit 500.

Published by DBusiness, the Detroit 500 is a comprehensive list of business leaders from more than 30 industries across metro Detroit and Michigan. Honorees are considered some of the most influential business leaders in Michigan based on extensive biographical research done by the magazine’s staff. These individuals were selected based on a number of factors, including organization size, growth rate, geographical reach, recent accomplishments and their extensive personal networks.

In his Detroit 500 profile, Brady was asked for his assessment of the health of the automotive supply chain. He wrote: “Record cost increases weren’t considered when parts were priced in contracts entered into a few years ago, so the entire cost structure has been turned on its head. In most cases, companies are working very closely within their supply chain to allocate certain parts quantities, rearrange production schedules or identify alternative suppliers.”

As executive partner of Warner’s Detroit and Bloomfield Hills offices, Brady leads the operations for more than 40 attorneys from across the firm’s 13 industry groups and 18 specialized practice groups. Brady co-chairs the firm’s Automotive Industry Group and chairs the Class Action Practice Group. He concentrates his practice on representing clients in complex business litigation, supply chain disputes and class action matters. Brady has extensive experience in supply chain contract negotiations, pricing and warranty disputes, antitrust issues and internal compliance investigations. He is immediate past chair of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group.

Active professionally and in the community, Brady serves as legal counsel to the Original Equipment Supplier Association’s Sales Executive Council. He is a longtime board member for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Michigan Chapter and a former chair of the board.

Brady is consistently recognized for his litigation work by Best Lawyers in America©Michigan Super Lawyers and as a Top Lawyer by DBusiness. He is a member of the Federal Bar Association, American Bar Association and State Bar of Michigan. The complete Detroit 500 list can be downloaded here.
