The State Bar of Michigan’s Real Property Law Section presents its 2026 Winter Conference in Miami. This year’s event will feature speakers from across Michigan, along with local Florida counsel, who will share timely and practical insights on today’s real estate landscape. The program will include an engaging discussion on Michigan real estate litigation updates, commercial leasing challenges, affordable housing and MSHDA initiatives and emerging issues for title professionals.
Warner attorneys Kurt Brauer and Robin Yono will co-present “The Rise and Effects of Data Centers on the Real Estate Market.” With more than two dozen data center proposals on the table, including at least three major hyperscale centers, Michigan is proving itself as one of the nation’s most attractive data center markets. Brauer and Yono will discuss how and why the state is attracting data center interest, how deals are getting done and the resulting effects on the real estate market.
At Warner, Brauer counsels clients on economic development, environmental compliance and regulatory matters, with an emphasis on brownfield redevelopment and business expansion incentive packages. He has worked on complex real estate and incentive projects across Michigan, including data center projects.
Yono practices real property law, including real estate and construction transactions with a focus on commercial and residential transactions, leasing, surveys, title matters, zoning issues, land contracts and environmental matters.
