The Smart Business Dealmakers Conference, formerly known as ASPIRE, brings together hundreds of Detroit’s top business leaders from middle-market CEOs and private equity investors to lenders and leading M&amp;A professionals. Focused on the full spectrum of middle-market transactions, the conference explores every stage of the M&amp;A lifecycle, with sessions covering capital raising, acquisitions, company sales and strategic planning for liquidity events.

Warner Executive Partner <a href="https://www.wnj.com/people/joscelyn-cekola-boucher/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Josie Boucher</a> will join the panel “Fueling Growth Through M&amp;A: Building the Right Capital Stack.” Financing acquisitive growth often requires more than a single capital source. In this session, investors, lenders, operators and advisors will discuss how companies build the optimal mix of financing from traditional bank debt and private equity to mezzanine capital, family offices and strategic investors. Drawing on deep deal experience, the panelists will share insights on structuring flexible capital stacks that support acquisitions, fuel expansion and bring the right partners to the table.

As executive partner in Warner’s Kalamazoo office, Boucher leads a team of 25 attorneys and five staff. She focuses her practice on representing emerging growth companies, investment funds and individuals in venture capital and other investment transactions. She serves on the firm’s Management Committee and chairs its Funds and Investments Industry Group.
