Innovate Marquette and Northern Michigan University to Host Innovation Week

Thursday, February 22, 2024

In-person Event
Northern Michigan University
1401 Presque Isle Ave.
Marquette, MI 49855

Innovate Marquette and SISU: The Innovation Institute at Northern Michigan University are hosting Innovation Week, a three-day professional development conference bringing together thought leaders, innovators and creative minds in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Warner Norcross + Judd LLP is proud to sponsor the event that’s designed to inspire, enlighten and spark curiosity for all those who attend.

Warner attorney and retired Maj. Gen. Michael A. Stone will lead a Thursday afternoon session titled “Outdoor Innovation: Electric Vehicle Jobs Academy.” Stone, who co-chairs the firm’s Aerospace and Defense Industry Group, draws on his extensive military and legal experience to be a “Swiss Army knife” type of attorney – someone who can capably complete almost any necessary task.

The three-day event runs from Feb. 21 – 23 and is held at multiple locations on and around NMU’s Marquette campus. In addition to keynote speakers, panel discussions, innovation displays and exhibits, this year’s Innovation Week is the first to offer pitch competitions to help creators promote their ideas.
