Homayune A. Ghaussi Accepted to American Arbitration Association Panel

Homayune A. Ghaussi, a partner with the law firm Warner Norcross + Judd LLP, has been accepted to the American Arbitration Association’s Commercial Arbitration Panel.

AAA is a nonprofit in the field of alternative dispute resolution that maintains a roster of impartial third-party arbitrators who have met the organization’s stringent standards of ethics and experience. With most courts facing a backlog of cases and other disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, alternative dispute resolution is increasingly seen as an effective, efficient path to settle conflicts outside of court.

Ghaussi focuses dually, and somewhat uniquely, on both supply chain litigation and commercial contract negotiation. He regularly represents clients in complex litigation and commercial disputes, including through jury trials and arbitration hearings. Homayune also regularly steps in earlier, serving as transactional and contracts counsel for automotive, manufacturing and raw material suppliers based throughout the United States and Europe. His litigation experience gives him valuable insight into how those contracts are likely to be interpreted if a problem arises.

In his role as an arbitrator, he will hear and decide disputes by leveraging his experience in a wide range of commercial and supply chain matters, including automotive contract matters, supply chain disruptions, noncompetition disputes, trade secrets claims, tortious interference, fraud and real property disputes.
