David J. Klippert, a partner in the Midland office of Warner Norcross + Judd LLP, has been elected to the Stevens Center for Family Business Executive Council at Saginaw Valley State University.
Klippert will serve a two-year term on the council, which is part of the Scott L. Carmona College of Business at SVSU. The SCFB exists to provide resources for and support the success of Great Lakes Bay Region family businesses, both in their business pursuits and their family relationships.
Klippert concentrates his practice in business law with an emphasis on commercial transactions, representing numerous family-owned businesses, manufacturing companies and professional services firms, including accounting and dental practices. He also focuses on estate planning and trust and estate administration.
Active professionally and in the community, Klippert also serves on the boards of the Michigan Chamber of Commerce, Bay Area Community Foundation, Horizon Bank (Great Lakes Bay Area), Wenonah Park Properties, Inc. (Doubletree Hotel in Bay City) and the Junior League of Saginaw Valley. He has also served on the boards of several other nonprofit organizations. Klippert is a graduate of Leadership Saginaw.
