Daniel S. Brookins has joined Warner Norcross + Judd LLP as an associate.
Brookins concentrates his practice in litigation with a focus on contract disputes, government investigations, Security and Exchange Commission enforcement, health care regulation, government contracts and related areas. He is based in Warner’s Grand Rapids office.
Prior to joining Warner, Brookins was an associate in the Washington, D.C. offices of Sidley Austin, LLP and Davis Wright Tremaine LLP & McGonigle P.C. He previously served as a law clerk for the Hon. Allison H. Eid of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and for the Hon. Edward G. Smith of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Brookins holds bachelors’ degrees in legal studies and philosophy from Nova Southeastern University and a law degree from The George Washington University Law School, where he was Order of the Coif and a notes editor of the The George Washington Law Review.
A native of Florida, Brookins currently resides in Ada with his wife, Mariel, and their two sons, Jimmy and Joel.
