Warner is proud to sponsor Michigan Farm Bureau’s Take Root: Farm Succession and Estate Planning conference. The event offers insightful sessions and practical guidance on strategies to secure the future of your farm and pass on the family legacy while navigating complex legal and estate planning considerations.
Warner partner Danelle Harrington will present “Distribution & Equalization Ideas for Distributing Your Estate Among Farm & Non-Farm Children.” Having grown up on her family’s farm, Harrington is passionate about supporting farmers as part of the firm’s Agribusiness and Food Industry Group. She has assisted many family farms in transitioning to the next generation, worked on tax reduction strategies and handled complex equipment and land acquisition transactions.
The Feb. 10 event will be held at the James B. Henry Center in Lansing and begins with registration at 8 a.m. In addition to learning about succession planning, attendees can network with fellow farmers and gain valuable knowledge to protect their farm for future generations.
