Employers of all sizes are navigating a rapidly evolving landscape as state and federal laws shift alongside the changing needs of the workforce. Staying compliant can feel daunting, especially with more changes on the horizon.
Start your morning each quarter with coffee, conversation and compliance at the new Coffee and Counsel Series, co-hosted by Warner Norcross + Judd LLP and Chamber of Commerce Grand Haven, Spring Lake, Ferrysburg. The series kicks off Oct. 21 with “Employment Law Update: 2025 Recap + 2026 Outlook.”
During this session, Tiffany VanderKolk, a labor and employment attorney in Warner’s Muskegon office, will discuss what changed in 2025 and what’s coming in 2026 so employers can update policies, train teams and budget effectively. Tiffany will continue guiding participants through each session of the series, helping local business leaders stay ahead of key employment law issues.
Here are the 2026 sessions:
- Feb. 17 – “In Practice: How New Laws Are Playing Out”
- April 21 – “Wage and Hour Compliance for Hourly Workers + Youth Employment”
- July 21 – “People Problems + Legal Pitfalls: A Midyear Compliance Tune-up
All sessions will be held at the Chamber. For more information and to register, please click here.
