2024 Clearing the Air Conference

Tuesday, April 9, 2024
8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. ET

In-person Event
Michigan Manufacturers Association
620 S. Capitol Ave.
Lansing, MI 48933

The Michigan Manufacturers Association and the Environmental Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan are pleased to present Clearing the Air Conference, a marquee annual event for those wanting to stay informed on urgent air regulatory issues. The event features leading professionals from government, industry, advocacy groups and legal profession to discuss a range of issues impacting state and national air regulations.

Warner Norcross + Judd Partner Kurt Kissling will moderate a panel discussion on recent federal and state air actions. The update comes on the heels of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s February announcement that it’s reducing the allowable amount of PM2.5, also known as “fine particulate matter” or “soot,” in the air. The new standard is a significant reduction and represents the first tightening of the rules since 2012. Individual states will have several years to comply with the new limits.

The April 9 event at the Michigan Manufacturing Association in Lansing begins at 8:30 a.m. and includes a luncheon.
