Venue Tower Project

Warner helped with this joint venture development project in downtown Grand Rapids, which included a multipurpose entertainment venue with 2,400 seats called The Venue, plus 44 one-bedroom apartment units, 20 two-bedroom apartment units and 24 micro-loft condominiums.

Warner helped secure a Brownfield Michigan Business Tax Credit totaling $4.52 million and tax increment financing through the City of Grand Rapids Downtown Development Authority Development Support Program totaling approximately $1.75 million for the project. In total, we secured $6.27 million in economic incentives for this project.

In addition, Warner established the joint venture, helped facilitate the land acquisition and provided drafting and negotiation of myriad agreements, including development agreements, condominium documents, and agreements with neighbors and the City of Grand Rapids.
