<p>Our client had begun transferring business ownership to the next generation a few years prior to the desired transition date.</p>
<p>As the desired transfer date approached, we helped them create a 2nd round of estate and business planning to complete the transfer of the family business ownership to the family&rsquo;s 2nd generation. This planning involved a design for making complex gifts and making sales to grantor trusts.</p>
