Bank Transition of Wealth Management Clients to Third-Party Broker-Dealer

We guided a multi-community bank holding company’s trust services team in negotiating and transitioning wealth management account relationships to a new third-party broker-dealer networking arrangement.

This joint marketing arrangement coordinates the bank’s trust services with a national financial services firm’s access to best-in-class securities brokerage products, lower cost wealth management services and user-friendly technology platform. 

The arrangement protects the bank’s client and customer relationships contractually and by leveraging the bank’s securities-licensed professionals.
