The West Michigan chapter of the Public Relations Society of Michigan (WMPRSA) continues its event series with The Work Continues: Practical Strategies for Moving Forward. This interactive discussion will explore how to address and act on diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility and belonging (DEIAB) in ways that are authentic, strategic and legally sound in today’s political climate.
Abby Coté, a labor and employment attorney at Warner, will participate in a panel that includes leaders in law, manufacturing and economic development. Panelists will share real-world strategies for building inclusive cultures and communicating about them confidently, both internally and externally.
At Warner, Coté counsels employers on a wide range of labor and employment issues, helping protect employees and workplaces. Her work includes drafting and reviewing employee handbooks and employment agreements, assessing state laws for out-of-state employees, handling regulatory matters, investigating harassment and discrimination claims, preparing position statements and responding to day-to-day labor inquiries.
