Warner’s Jessica L. Yon Named to Michigan Lawyers Weekly ‘Unsung Hero’ Class of 2021

Unsung Heroes have consistently gone above and beyond the call of duty, often behind the scenes. This award is reserved for the state’s most talented and dedicated legal support professionals, from firm administrators to legal marketing to paralegals. Yon is recognized in the legal marketing category.

Yon’s nomination read in part: “Jessica is the lead content creator for one of Michigan’s largest law firms. She often juggles multiple complex projects, always with a smile and a willingness to say yes. She puts 110% into everything she does – and she’s been responsible for improvements to the firm’s overall branding, marketing and PR efforts.”

In her role, Yon manages creative marketing and communications for Warner. She is responsible for writing, designing, managing projects and governing vendor relationships related to the firm’s identity and brand. She oversees client communications and works with the firm’s marketing team to initiate, create and implement a variety of print and digital marketing materials across multiple platforms. She works to create an identity, brand and voice that resonates with Warner’s clients and speaks true to who the firm is: one of the most established and reputable law firms in Michigan.

Yon has a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Hope College and a certification in content strategy and copywriting from the University of Washington. She and her husband, Seth, reside in Ada with their three children.
