Carlotta C. Gmachl, senior business development manager at Warner Norcross + Judd LLP, has been named a 2026 Rising Star Award recipient by the Legal Sales and Service Organization.
The LSSO Rising Star Award recognizes emerging leaders who demonstrate innovation, measurable results and a significant impact on legal business development. Gmachl was recognized for her innovative approach to business development and measurable contributions to Warner.
Gmachl recently relaunched the firm's International Business and Trade Practice Group, creating a transparent pricing model for international companies expanding into the U.S. Her efforts generated more than $782,000 in new business in 2025, helped onboard six international clients since August 2025 and facilitated six international delegation visits that introduced more than 100 prospective clients to the firm.
She also developed the firm's Supper Club Program and Video Clinic, initiatives designed to remove barriers for attorneys while creating new opportunities for client engagement and business growth.
Her nomination read, in part: “Gmachl’s contribution reflects a modern understanding of client experience. The international program gives companies a simpler, more confident entry point into the U.S. legal market by offering a predictable pricing model for key onboarding needs, giving prospective clients a clearer roadmap. Her Supper Club Program similarly grew from listening to clients who wanted to understand what peers were seeing and doing.”
