Jonathan E. Lauderbach, a partner at Warner Norcross + Judd LLP’s Midland office, has been appointed to the Albion College board of trustees.
A 1991 Albion graduate, Lauderbach will lend his expertise to the Albion College board of trustees, which works to establish Albion’s goals, determine its major features and policies, approve their implementation and provide for the effective support, administration and advancement of the college. Lauderbach will serve a three-year term.
Previously a circuit judge for Midland County, Lauderbach joined Warner to help open its Midland office in 2013. He focuses his practice on commercial litigation, providing trusted counsel to public and private companies on business disputes in courts throughout the U.S. With his extensive contacts in state and local government, he is often called upon to offer strategic counsel to government officials and to conduct investigations related to elections and campaign finance matters.
He has been recognized as a Michigan Super Lawyer on multiple occasionsand as one of the Leaders in the Law by Michigan Lawyers Weekly in 2018.
Lauderbach is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan and a Fellow of the Michigan State Bar Foundation. He is a past chair of the Michigan Attorney Discipline Board and currently serves the Board as a hearing panelist. Lauderbach is an adjunct faculty member at the Michigan State University College of Law.
Actively involved in the community, he serves on the boards for the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation, the Delta College Foundation and Greater Midland. He also serves on the Midland Public Schools Board of Education as treasurer.
