Warner Partner Corinne Sprague Named as Up & Coming Lawyer by Michigan Lawyers Weekly

Corinne N. Sprague, a partner with Warner Norcross + Judd LLP, has been named as an “Up & Coming Lawyer” for 2018 by Michigan Lawyers Weekly.

Sprague will be recognized in the annual edition that acknowledges the best of Michigan’s young attorneys. To be selected for the honor, Michigan Lawyers Weekly looks for lawyers in their first 10 years in practice who have established a name and reputation for themselves; displayed ambition, determination and drive; have gone above and beyond the call of duty; and have accomplished tasks that have set them apart from their peers. Along with 29 others, Sprague will be honored at publication’s tenth annual luncheon and awards taking place on Thursday, Dec. 13.

Her nomination read, in part: “Corinne’s dedication to her craft, willingness to work and build relationships with others within the firm, and excellent client service led her to be selected by a decades-old client to manage their sophisticated legal needs when their current attorney announced retirement. Corinne is exceptional in her ability to establish relationships with her co-workers and never passes up an opportunity to learn and grow from colleagues and peer mentorships.”

Sprague focuses her practice on corporate and securities law, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters, including planning and governance. She has been named to the Rising Star list by Michigan Super Lawyers for the past three years and recognized as a Top Women Lawyer by Super Lawyers Magazine.

Active professionally and in the community, Sprague is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan and Grand Rapids Bar Association. She serves on the Grand Rapids Art Museum’s Corporate Partnership Committee and on the board of the Grand Rapids Early Discovery Center. She has been actively involved with the Grand Rapids Symphony, serving as chair of its Community Engagement Committee and as a member of its most recent Music Director Search Committee. She is also a member of Inforum.

A native and current resident of Grand Rapids, Sprague received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and her doctor of jurisprudence magna cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School, where she was Order of the Coif.
