The law firm Warner Norcross + Judd LLP is again offering its popular human resources seminar on benefits and labor issues.
“Legal Updates & Best Practices” will provide an update on the new laws, policies and litigation that are shaping the regulatory landscape that governs how HR professionals manage employee benefits and labor and employment issues. Twenty-four attorneys from the firm’s eight offices in Michigan will present sessions on hot topics for HR professionals on May 3 at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel.
The seminar is divided into half-day blocks with overview discussions and then breakout sessions that allow time for questions and answers. The morning section will focus on employee benefits and kick off with a general discussion about legislative updates and current trends. The afternoon block will present information on labor and employment, opening with a general overview of regulatory updates.
