Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson has selected Randall J. Peck, a partner at Warner Norcross + Judd, as a member of the 2018 Elite 40 Under 40 class.
Roughly 220 applications and nominations were reviewed by a panel of independent judges who evaluated candidates living or working in Oakland County who have excelled in their respective fields and have established a track record of innovation, talent and leadership in their careers. This year’s list features professionals from a variety of industries, including law, education, manufacturing, media, food and beverage, health care and government.
Based in the firm’s Southfield office, Peck serves the automotive and chemical industries, primarily focusing his practice in the chemical, mechanical and electro-mechanical arts. He specializes in all aspects of intellectual property, with a particular focus on patent counseling, procurement, clearance, global portfolio management, and agreements and transactions involving technology and intellectual property. He often acts as an extension of his clients’ businesses, helping them navigate complex patent laws around the world.
Peck currently serves on OESA’s Young Leadership Council 5 and was a member of the Detroit Regional Chamber’s Leadership Detroit Class XXXVI, which completed a 10-month transformational leadership program designed to challenge emerging and existing leaders from Southeast Michigan to bring about positive change.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Michigan Technological University and a doctor of jurisprudence summa cum laude from Michigan State University College of Law.
